Tony Award nominee Walter Willison and Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba will star in Two By Two: The 50th Anniversary Virtual Concert to benefit The Actors Fund. The virtual holiday event will premiere at 2:00 PM on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25 through Monday, December 28.

ANNIE THE MUSICAL has become a worldwide phenomenon and StoryBook Theatre are thrilled to bring it to the Calgary audience to be streamed online from the comfort of their homes from November 27 to January 2, 2021. 

The show features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Martin Charnin, a book by Peter Stone. The musical is based on the play The Flowering Peach by Clifford Odets. The Broadway production ran for 351 performances.

Fairfield Summer Stage, an immersive musical theatre education program, will present its annual Back to School Session this fall. Featuring a professional staff and participants grades 1-10 from Fairfield County, Back to School will start rehearsals for 'Annie Warbucks' on September 12th and rehearse Tuesdays and Saturdays through November 7th.

Richard Skipper will sit down to celebrate Bill Berloni on Monday, August 17th, 5 PM ET/2PM PT.

Today we rewind to 2012, when the second Broadway revival of Annie opened at the Palace Theatre, where it ran for 487 performances. Annie features a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin, with all three authors receiving 1977 Tony Awards for their work.

The Grand Theatre has announced its 2020/2021 Season. Stage Door Records has announced the debut CD release of the 'Annie' Original London Cast Recording. Digitally remastered from the studio master tapes, the CD will be released in stores on February 28th, 2020.

All in all Annie is fairly good musical full of surprises, not to mention its humane approach to life: Magical things can happen to us, but if the little details you've longed for so long don't match, it's more than okay to feel sad, though it might feel wrong in the first hand. In the end, tomorrow's only a day away anyways. I love you, tomorrow... And I love you, Vaskivuori!
