Hop into your “Little Red Corvette” and let's get “Delirious” with Prince impersonator Marshall Charloff & Purple XPeRIeNCE on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Overture Center's Capitol Theater.

Overture Center's 2022/23 season, revealed in May 2022, showcases an array of diverse artistic expressions, cultures and personality.

Prince is considered one of modern's music's most talented singers and songwriters. With over 100 singles, Prince's legacy will live on forever. Capturing his spirit and musicianship is already challenging; performing an authentic tribute to the icon, is nearly impossible. Songs like 'Purple Rain', 'Little Red Corvette', '1999' and many more require virtuoso level skills and vocal range. Marshall Charloff embraces the challenge.

On Tuesday evening, there was a private event sponsored by a long-time attendee couple. This event wasn't as ordinary as one would think it might be. This event was, in fact, an opportunity to showcase great talent at SXSW and give them more exposure. But, along with that comes the fact that included in the lineup were Grammy Award winners and nominees, CEO's and more.

Nearly eighteen months after his death, the music of Prince lives on through The Purple Xperience, a five-piece tribute band that has been touring the country since 2011, bringing the memories of Prince and The Revolution to audiences of all generations. Hailing from Prince's hometown of Minneapolis, The Purple Xperience comes to the State Theatre on Saturday, October 7.

The Houston Symphony will celebrate the massive pop music contributions of Prince at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 15, with a performance of his iconic and eclectic smash hits, complete with a full rock band and lead vocalist.

The Purple Xperience band will be appearing at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, in the Bronx, Saturday, May 20th at 8:00 pm.

The Houston Symphony celebrates the life and musical contributions of pop culture icon Prince on July 15 with an exceptional symphonic tribute to the artist's eclectic music, complete with orchestra, live band and featured vocalist Marshall Charloff.
