The 2018-2019 season includes six Broadway shows, headlined by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Blockbuster Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Also coming as part of the Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico series are Finding Neverland, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots, and the newly-restaged Cats. RENT 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR will also tour to Popejoy as a Broadway Extra.

ASCAP, the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers, hosted its 35th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards on Monday, April 23, recognizing four impressive songwriting talents with a 2018 ASCAP Pop Music Songwriter of the Year award, each for their individual achievement in crafting some of the most popular songs of 2017. Steve Mac won for 'Shape of You' (Ed Sheeran), 'Strip That Down' (Liam Payne ft. Quavo), 'Rockabye' (Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul) and 'What About Us' (P!nk); Max Martin, receiving the award for an unprecedented 11th time, for 'Side To Side' (Ariana Grande), 'Can't Stop The Feeling!' (Justin Timberlake), 'Send My Love' (Adele) and 'Just Like Fire' (P!nk); Starrah for 'Now or Never' (Halsey), 'Fake Love' (Drake), 'What Lovers Do' (Maroon 5 ft. SZA) and 'Havana' (Camila Cabello); and Drew Taggart for '1-800-273-8255' (Logic ft. Alessia Cara and Khalid) in addition to three hits by his band, The Chainsmokers: 'Something Just Like This' (ft. Coldplay), 'Closer' (ft. Halsey) and 'Paris.'  ASCAP President and award-winning songwriter Paul Williamspresented the awards.

Hoobastank, the multi-platinum, 3X GRAMMY-nominated group have announced the release of their sixth studio album titled PUSH PULL on Friday, May 25. For the new album, the band partnered with producer Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Deftones, Maroon 5, Andy Grammer) in Los Angeles marking their first release on noted rock independent label Napalm Records. Pre-orders for PUSH PULL will be available starting April 4 and will include a download of 'More Beautiful,' the first track released off the album.

The NCAA and Turner Live Events, alongside official NCAA Corporate Champions AT&T, Coca-Cola, and Capital One have announced additional artists for the 2018 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. The free, three-day live music celebration, set to take place March 30 – April 1, is open to the public at Hemisfair in San Antonio.

Race The Tide, the latest project from Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jesse Macht, has released 'Dayenu.' The song premiered via Atwood Magazine, who called it 'a heartfelt ballad of hope and tranquility.' The song, which 'gives new life to an ancient mantra,' is a bonus cut from their debut album Race The Tide, out this Friday.
