The Novato Theater Company's second show of its 100th season is Sweeney Todd, a co-production with Theatre-at-Large. This musical thriller, opening on October 25 and running until November 17, is directed by Kim Bromley and Bruce Vieira with musical direction by Judy Wiesen and choreography and movement by Marilyn Izdebski.

Treasures on offer include rare Disneyland ride vehicles, park décor, and attraction posters, as well as animation art from some of the most beloved movies and TV shows of all time, and original illustrations by artists like Dr. Seuss. A new recording is released today of the Academy Award-winning song Falling Slowly, introducing Daniel Healy as Guy and Emma Lucia as Girl. They will lead the cast of the first UK Tour of Once, launching in January 2020 following a run at Fairfield Halls, Croydon from Thursday 19 December to Saturday 11 January.

The Honorees include Obba Babatunde, a celebrated, award-winning entertainer, Broadway, film and television star, whose career spans more than four decades, winner of a daytime Emmy for his role in CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful, nominated for a Tony for his role in the original Broadway cast of Dreamgirls, Critic's Circle Awards-winner for the musical Sammy, NAACP Image Award-winner for A Soldier's Play; and will next be seen on the new season of the CBS series SWAT(starring Shemar Moore), and in the Hulu produced series, Little Fires Everywhere, starring Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon. The other honorees are New York Public Advocate, Jumaane D. This Kansas City premiere, with book and lyrics by Tony Kushner (Angels in America) and music by Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home), premiered at New York City's Off-Broadway Public Theater in 2003, with a Broadway run in 2004.
