Barbra Streisand will be the recipient of the Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award this year. The Dwight D. Opperman Foundation will officially honor Streisand in a ceremony at the Library of Congress on April 22.

Babyface, releases his latest single “As a matter of fact,” out now via P Music Group. Written by Babyface & co-produced by Tommy Brown (The Weeknd, Ariana Grande), “As a matter of fact” is Babyface’s first solo single since his 2015 album “Return of the Tender Lover,” and his first single under the P Music Group label.

Jon Arons brought the brass to the Triad with his all singing, all dancing, all trombone playing evening of music dedicated to the brass band sound of the music of Chicago, Kool & The Gang, Brian Setzer, Ricky Martin, Sinatra, and Beyonce! (among others) The 8 piece band supported Jon in bringing the JOY of live entertainment to the hip and happy crowd.

Singer/songwriter Marco Giovanni has released his debut single, “Straight Face,” out now on all DSPs. On February 26 at 7:30pm, a bombshell cast of stars including Tony Award Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig), Brittney Johnson (Wicked), and Eleri Ward (Only Gold) will belt out new arrangements of the hits of the pop superstar Adele, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra at the beautiful Sony Hall.

Sinclair is back with the release of a brand new visual for his “Open Remix” featuring appearances from fellow Spotify 2023 R&B Artists to Watch members DESTIN CONRAD and JVCK JAMES. Directed by frequent collaborators the Fang Group, the explosive collaboration appears on Sinclair’s breakout EP, No Longer in the Suburbs (Deluxe).

The release pays homage to his African ancestry, using the ancient name of the Motherland as the EPs title. ALKEBULAN further taps into the Afrobeats soundscape the singer has so brilliantly captured with his recent releases and is the first of many exciting projects under his belt as he gears up for his biggest year yet.
