The not-for-profit Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce the cast and creative for the next production in its Live Edition educational initiative. The Diary of Anne Frank, a stage adaptation of the book,The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank will be presented to students Wednesday, March 11 thru Friday, March 13 at 10am and to the public on Friday, March 13 at 8pm and Saturday, March 14 at 2pm and 8pm. After a Sold Out debut in September 2019 (at the Center for Jewish History), Anne Frank, a Musical returns Off-Broadway at the Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street, New York NY 10036). Written by Jean-Pierre Hadida, adapted in English by Dylan Hadida, this musical was highly recognized in France for the last ten years. After receiving critical acclaim for his 2019 Off-Broadway production, David Serero returns as the director and producer of this revival, also starring as Otto Frank. Anne Frank, a Musical features 12 artists on stage to bring the poetry and music of Jean-Pierre Hadida.

Reston Community Players continues its 53rd season with The Diary of Anne Frank, an impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic. Based on a true story, Anne Frank tells the story of the two-year ordeal through the writings of the title character, whose optimism in the midst of a dark existence has served as a guide for generations. The Diary of Anne Frank runs February 28-March 14 at the Reston Community Center.
