Casting for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of A Chorus Line, which won the Tony® Award for Best Musical, has been announced: Sabrina Bryan as Valerie Clark, Robert Fairchild as Mike Costa, Spencer Liff as Larry, Ross Lynch as Mark Anthony, in addition to Mara Davi as Maggie Winslow, Denis Lambert as Gregory Gardner, J. There's a bone disease called 'pycnodysostosis', but it's more commonly known as Toulouse-Lautrec Syndrome. It means that the density of one's bones is irregular, and usually results in an abnormal growth of digits or appendages. In the case of the actual Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, it meant that his legs were shorter than normal, and his general stature was fragile. (more...)

Nominations for the 2016 Fred and Adele Astaire Awards, which honor outstanding dance and choreography on stage and screen, were announced today at the Friar's Club by New York Post columnist Michael Riedel. For the first time, the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards have explored recognizing excellence in dance, movement, and choreography off-Broadway. Twenty eligible shows in the non-profit and commercial off-Broadway arenas met the eligibility requirements and were considered. (more...)

The first ever Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will play its 100th performance on Broadway on Saturday, December 19th at 8pm.  In celebration of the critically acclaimed musical comedy set in 1933, tickets for the Saturday, December 19th 8pm performance will be $19.33.  You can purchase the specially priced $19.33 tickets only at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office on Saturday, December 19th from 10am till 8pm for that evening's performance.  Customers may purchase up to 8 tickets per person and should reference the code Dames 1933 or 100th Performance.
