WaterTower Theatre Artistic Director Joanie Schultz today announced casting and creative team details for the Regional Premiere of Karen Zacarias' Native Gardens, directed by David Lozano. Native Gardens will run June 2-25, 2017, in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso as Tania Del Valle, Ivan Jasso as Pablo Del Valle, Lois Sonnier Hart as Virginia Butley, and John S. Davies as Frank Butley.

Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, celebrates its 3rd anniversary on Broadway today, March 20th, 2017, at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Children from five New Jersey public elementary schools were given the extraordinary opportunity to perform on the spectacular concert hall stage of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Monday, Feb. 13 as part of the Disney Musicals in Schools Student Share Celebration.

The house at Disney's Aladdin on Broadway had their wish granted when Whoopi Goldberg made a surprise one-night-only appearance last night, January 19th. Goldberg's appearance was taped for a segment for ABCs 'The View' this Thursday January 26th that will also include the show-stopping number 'Friend Like Me,' filmed at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre. Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, is pleased to announce that Major Attaway, current Genie standby in the Broadway company, will take over the role full-time beginning Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents 'ALICE WONDER' in concert on October 21st. This new musical comedy tells the story of Alice Wonder, a stressed out and overworked widow who's life takes an unexpected turn when she falls down a manhole into a magical, outrageous and uproarious, soul-filled wonderland. There are a lot of changes from the Wonderland we all know and love. The Cheshire Cat becomes Cat Daddy and the Queen of Hearts is an evil Drag Queen searching for soul. Alice is redrawn from a curious and imaginative girl who has to make her way through a series of bizarre obstacles, to a woman who has to do the same thing just to be reminded that life is a Wonderland, and singing your blues can sometimes be the very thing that sets you free.

Just last night, the American Theatre Wing honored legendary Tony Award-winning actress Cicely Tyson at its annual gala at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South). Tony Award winners Cynthia Erivo and Adriane Lenox, as well as Tony Award nominees Danielle Brooks and Saycon Sengbloh performed for the special night.

Magical Music for Life Foundation is thrilled to present its 5th annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE benefit concert Sunday, May 1, 2016 on Broadway between 42nd & 43rd Streets in Times Square. The goal of the concert is to raise financial support to produce a new original album of songs for water safety applicable to children with and without specials needs, awareness of our music, and funds to perform our musical written especially for children with autism and other special needs. Theatre Development Fund (TDF), the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, honored Disney Theatrical Productions and Thomas Schumacher, its president and producer, last night at TDF's Gala on Monday, March 14 at Manhattan's historic Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway @ 36th Street, NYC).
