The indomitable and generous spirit of the theatre community - those onstage, backstage and in the audience - shined brightly as the 29th annual Gypsy of the Year competition celebrated six weeks of fundraising work of 56 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Gypsy of the Year (#GypsyOfTheYear), which was held December 4 and 5, 2017, raised a record-breaking $5,609,211 for Broadway Cares. Check out highlights from the show below!

Disney's Aladdin will welcome Arielle Jacobs as Jasmine on Broadway beginning Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Jacobs originated the role in the Australian production in 2016 and is the sister of original Broadway star Adam Jacobs, currently leading the North American tour in the title role. Her previous Broadway credits include Wicked and In the Heights.

Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE to be held on Monday, November 27th at the series' new home, The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Performers scheduled for November 27th are Zach Adkins (Anastasia), Kennedy Caughell (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Erin Clemons (Hamilton), Kayla Davion (Waitress), Amanda Lea LaVergne (Annie), Tony LePage (Come From Away), Madison Micucci (The Band's Visit), Katie Sexton (The Play That Goes Wrong) and Eric Ulloa (On Your Feet!). WaterTower Theatre has announced the election of nine new Board Members, as well as a new slate of Officers. The Board voted unanimously to install the following Executive Committee Officers: President Paul Shultz, Vice President Stan Graner, Vice President Grace Daniels, Treasurer Philip Longacre, and Secretary Karol Omlor.
