Broadway veterans James Moye and Victor Hawks will team with top performers from ALADDIN, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, SCHOOL OF ROCK and SPIDER-MAN at the annual New Year's Eve extravaganza at Tony's DiNapoli at Times Square tonight.

The indomitable and generous spirit of the theatre community - those onstage, backstage and in the audience - shined brightly as the 29th annual Gypsy of the Year competition celebrated six weeks of fundraising work of 56 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Gypsy of the Year (#GypsyOfTheYear), which was held December 4 and 5, 2017, raised a record-breaking $5,609,211 for Broadway Cares. Check out highlights from the show below!

Disney's Aladdin will welcome Arielle Jacobs as Jasmine on Broadway beginning Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Jacobs originated the role in the Australian production in 2016 and is the sister of original Broadway star Adam Jacobs, currently leading the North American tour in the title role. Her previous Broadway credits include Wicked and In the Heights.

Broadway's brightest will celebrate six weeks of dedicated fundraising in a spectacular showcase of songs and skits when the 29th Annual Gypsy of the Year competition returns at 4:30 pm Monday, December 4, 2017, and at 2 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Stars from Broadway's hottest shows, including Aladdin, A Bronx Tale, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton and Meteor Shower, will make special appearances at the 29th annual Gypsy of the Year competition on Monday, December 4, at 4:30 pm and Tuesday, December 5, at 2 pm.

Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Performers scheduled for November 27th are Zach Adkins (Anastasia), Kennedy Caughell (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Erin Clemons (Hamilton), Kayla Davion (Waitress), Amanda Lea LaVergne (Annie), Tony LePage (Come From Away), Madison Micucci (The Band's Visit), Katie Sexton (The Play That Goes Wrong) and Eric Ulloa (On Your Feet!). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

Actor Deont L. Warren, currently in Aladdin on Broadway, makes his Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut tonight, Friday, November 10, in 'Let's Make It To Love.'

Conceived, written, and directed by Jay, and backed by an 8 piece band led by Rodney Bush, Jay will be joined by a slew of Broadway talent including Alysha Umphress (On the Town), Major Attaway(Aladdin), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Danny Quadrino (Wicked), Kerstin Anderson (Sound of Music), Katie Thomson (Giant), and a cast of many more crazy and kooky characters. Get ready for an upbeat and eclectic set of tunes from Broadway to Jazz to Pop to Rock, and COME IN COSTUME! You might just win the costume contest. Throw back some of Winifred's Life Potion and order the fried chicken special made exclusively forJay's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and then party with the cast across the street at Characters after the 9:30pm performance.

WaterTower Theatre has announced the election of nine new Board Members, as well as a new slate of Officers. The Board voted unanimously to install the following Executive Committee Officers: President Paul Shultz, Vice President Stan Graner, Vice President Grace Daniels, Treasurer Philip Longacre, and Secretary Karol Omlor.
