Birdland Theater was thrilled to present Ariana DeBose, one of the stars of Broadway's Summer: The Donna Summer Musical­­­, on Monday, November 5.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to welcome the return of award winning songwriter Scott Alan on Monday, September 24. The concert was a celebration of Alan's newest album "Lifeline."

Birdland will kick-off their exciting month of programming with Dee Dee Bridgewater with the Theo Croker Quintet, Kevin Eubanks Quartet, Anita Gillette, Ron Carter's Great Big Band, Quartet and Golden Striker Trio, Alan Broadbent Trio, Capathia Jenkins & Louis Rosen, Jay Leonhart, Pasquale Grasso Trio, Ken Peplowski with Special Guest Sinne Eeg, Jim Caruso's Cast Party, and more!

The acoustics of Birdland, usually employed to perfectly show off the music coming from some of the finest Jazz musicians in the world was also up to the task of accurately accommodating the elegant sounds from the cello and artistry of Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf. The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented the return of Broadway singer/actor Max von Essen in concert last night, July 23. Max von Essen, currently starring in the hit Broadway production of Anastasia, returned with his old fashioned, new show celebrating the best of Broadway and the American songbook. Once again, Billy Stritch was musical director for the evening, with Steve Doyle on bass, Daniel Glass on drums, and Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello.

The Broadway Loves series returned to Feinstein's/54 Below on May 28th when over a dozen of Broadway's most distinctive voices celebrated the two-decade long, multi-platinum career of Grammy Award winner and fashion icon Gwen Stefani. The concerts were musically directed and produced by Benjamin Rauhala.

A memorial service for beloved five-time Tony Award-nominated actress Jan Maxwell will be held on Monday, June 4 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Broadway singer/actor Max von Essen in concert on Monday, April 30. Mr. von Essen, currently starring in the hit Broadway production of Anastasia, along with his musical director, the incomparable Billy Stritch, brought an old fashioned new show celebrating the best of Broadway and the American songbook.

On Monday, February 26, Birdland once again hosted Justin 'Squigs' Robertson as guest artist-in-residence at Jim Caruso's Cast Party.

This past summer, Broadway's original Belle, Susan Egan, revisited some of her most iconic moments on stage at The Broadway Princess Party! Following the news that Egan will return to the iconic role this summer in California, check out the video of her performing some of the iconic songs from the stage show below!

On Valentine's Day, Broadway's favorite couples and musical director Benjamin Rauhala celebrated Broadway romance, both on and off-stage. The concert featured many of Broadway's most romantic songs, heartfelt and hilarious stories from each couple, and the open-hearted cello stylings of Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf.
