Photo Flash: Broadway at Birdlands Presents A Very 'Squigs' Cast Party

On Monday, February 26, Birdland once again hosted Justin "Squigs" Robertson as guest artist-in-residence at Jim Caruso's Cast Party.
Squigs sat in on the Cast Party fun and did quick sketches of the cavalcade of talent on the Birdland stage. He graciously gifted the performers with the artwork for a donation of their choosing, with all proceeds going to God's Love We Deliver,New York City's leading provider of nutritious, individually-tailored meals for people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
Whether celebrating opening nights in ink or reflecting showbiz luminaries on the Lights of Broadway Show Cards, Justin "Squigs" Robertson is a huge part of the Broadway community, carrying on traditions exemplified by the late, great Al Hirschfeld.
Jim Caruso's Cast Party, the weekly showbiz bash/open mic at Birdland has been the place for show people and their fans to rub elbows during a wildly impromptu variety show for fifteen years.
