Coyote StageWorks, the Coachella Valley-based award-winning Actors' Equity professional theater company, announced that its ninth season will include productions of two highly entertaining stage plays, presented at the Palm Springs Art Museum's Annenberg Theater, as well as the return of much-anticipated free Play Dates staged reading series. The Coyote StageWorks season will open with a performance of Dirty Blonde for nine performances, running February 2 11, 2018. This will be followed by the production The Cocktail Hour, running March 23 - April 1 for nine performances. The Play Dates series will run on selected Sundays from November through June at the Camelot Theater, part of the Palm Springs Cultural Center. (more...)

Marilyn Maye always packs the Celebrity Room at Dino's Backstage in Glenside, PA, and now fans can get another chance to see this legendary performer as she returns there on September 14, 15 and 16. The month starts off with two performances by Paula Johns and Michael Richard Kelly on September 8 and 9. The duo will be accompanied by The Tom Adams Trio, with Tom Adams on piano, Steve Varner on bass and Grant MacAvoy on drums. On September 22 and 23, the multi-media tribute performer Randy Roberts will showcase his impersonations of famous women. A Version) will present the World Premiere of Lasha Bugadze's Navigator in Love, directed by Adam Knight (In the Room with Slant Theatre Project) as part of the Georgian-American Theatrical Feast, a festival of new works written by playwrights from the Republic of Georgia translated into English, July 13-August 6 at Teatro Circulo (64 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances on Thu 7/13, Fri 7/14, Sat 7/15, Sat 7/22, Wed 7/26, Thu 7/27, Fri 7/28, Fri 8/4 & Sat 8/5 @ 8pm, Sun 7/16, Sun 7/23 & Sun 8/6 @ 3pm.
