There was $88k in scholarships awarded on 1/27 to nine dancers: $6,000 each to Megan Nee (FL), Kaitlyn Bien (IL) and Tyler Burden (NY); $8,000 each to Sophia Borgarello (TX), Carly Bocchino (FL) and Anna Bermudez (FL); $14,000 each to Kelis Robinson (Canada and Joey Gertin (Canada); and $18,000 to Sydney Revennaugh (FL). They also received Summer Study Scholarships to Steps on Broadway and Peridance Capezio

Mykki Blanco has teamed with Gucci and Dazed to create a special one-off live performance video for her track, “Lucky (Live In London)” which she dropped in late December. This collaboration marks the first installment of #GucciGig experiences. Mykki worked with directors Diana Kunst and Mau Morgó to create the clip. This special performance of new song “Lucky” was delivered with a 3-piece string section and movement choreographed by Tom Heyes. This song was produced by FaltyDL who also made an appearance on keyboards. Of the partnership, Mykki notes: 'I was thrilled when Gucci and Dazed asked me to be a part of their #GucciGig series, creating an original video that feels parts performance art, fashion film and live performance. Special projects like this are always a lot of fun and with two creative entities like Gucci and Dazed that support originality at their forefront.'
The Guild of Music Supervisors announced today the nominees of their landmark 10th annual award ceremony celebrating outstanding achievement in the craft of Music Supervision in movies, television, games, advertising, and trailers. Crowning the evening will be this year's Icon Award honoree composer and lyricist Burt Bacharach. Bacharach will join industry legend Bob Hunka who will receive the organization's prestigious Legacy Award. Bacharach and Hunka will receive their honors at the 10th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards taking place on Wednesday, February 6th at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.
