Lloyd Suh Named 2020 Recipient Of The Horton Foote Prize

Mari Marchbanks (Founder and Executive Director) announced today that The 2020 Horton Foote Prize has been awarded to Lloyd Suh for his play The Chinese Lady. Awarded since 2010, the biennial prize is named in honor of the late playwright, and recognizes excellence in American theatre. 

Coney Island USA Will Present the Mermaid Parade 2020

Coney Island USA (CIUSA), the not-for-profit arts organization that for the past 37 years has presented the Mermaid Parade, today revealed more details about the 2020 event. The Parade, to be held on August 29th at 1:30pm, has morphed into a Tail-a-Thon.

Utah Shakespeare Festival Announces 2021 Season

“The 2021 season at the Utah Shakespeare will be like no other in our history,” said Executive Producer Frank Mack in announcing the upcoming theatre season. “It is our sixtieth year, it is dedicated to our founder, Fred C. Adams, and it marks our return to producing after missing 2020. It will be a magnificent experience.”
