The Last Flapper will end its EdFringe run on 19 August at Greenside @ Riddles Court – Clover Studio (Venue 16). The show premieres a new version of William Luce's play which has been created by DuBord and Texan director Lydia Mackay.

Second Thought Theatre Closes 15th Season With World Premiere of WHAT WE WERE

Second Thought Theatre closes their 2019 season with the world premiere of What We Were by acclaimed local playwright Blake Hackler. This is the third world premiere of Hackler's plays presented by Second Thought, following successful runs in previous seasons of The Necessities and Enemies/People. It also marks the first co-production for the company with another theatre. Directed by STT Artistic Associate Christie Vela, What We Were tells the story of three sisters who suffered a childhood of abuse. Weaving scenes from the past and present, the play explores responsibility, what we do to cope, and the very difficult work of healing. What We Were begins with previews on Wednesday, August 28 and runs through Saturday, September 21. Performances of What We Were will take place at Bryant Hall on the Kalita Humphreys Campus; 3400 Blackburn Avenue before transferring to Circle Theatre in Fort Worth. Dallas Theater Center Presents WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents White Rabbit Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre Studio Theatre. White Rabbit Red Rabbit begins on May 30 and runs through July 1. A-List Actresses Take Their Turn With A Dallas Classic DAFFODIL GIRLS

In 2013, Fun House Theatre and Film forever changed the landscape of children's theatre in DFW with an original play that defied convention, expectation and possibility, Bren Rapp and Jeff Swearingen's DAFFODIL GIRLS. The production became the talk of the industry, media outlets locally and nationally and after selling out its original run had to be brought back for a second round, with a cast of young actresses ages 6-15 becoming the envy of the adult set of artists who continued to pack a small black box theatre in Plano to experience what became a phenomenon.

The Pazinski family returns to Circle's stage in King O' the Moon by Tom Dudzick, the second play in a trilogy inspired by the author's childhood. Circle produced Dudzick's Over the Tavern in 2005 and The Last Mass at St. Casimir's in 2007.  Ten years after Over the Tavern, this sequel takes place during the rebellious '60's as Apollo 11 is on its voyage to the moon. The Pazinski's come together as their lives seem to fall apart. Prior knowledge of this working-class family is not a prerequisite to appreciate the hilarious and heartfelt end to the three part series at Circle.
