UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Advises People To Avoid Theatres

In an address to the nation outlining the latest strategy to deal with the coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has advised the British public to stop 'non-essential contact' with others. He recommends people should work from home where possible and avoid pubs, clubs and theatres.

The Boulevard Theatre's production of The Effect is currently in rehearsals! The Effect is written by award-winning writer Lucy Prebble (A Very Expensive Poison, ENRON, The Sugar Syndrome, Succession and Secret Diary of a Call Girl) and directed by Anthony Neilson (The Tell-Tale Heart, The Prudes and Unreachable). Eric Kofi Abrefa plays Tristan Frey, Christine Entwisle will play Lorna James, Tim McMullan will play Toby Sealey and Kate O'Flynn will play Connie Hall.

THE WATSONS Will Transfer To The West End

Following sold-out runs at both Chichester Festival Theatre and the Menier Chocolate Factory, Laura Wade's The Watsons transfers to the West End in 2020. The production opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 19 May, with previews from 8 May, and runs until 26 September. Public booking opens on 15 November, priority booking is open now.
