Local theatre company Darlington Operatic Society is just weeks away from curtain up on their next blockbuster musical, Jekyll & Hyde.

The endless battle between good and evil comes alive onstage in the NEW OCTAVIANS new thrilling production of JEKYLL AND HYDE. Based on the 1886 classic, JEKYLL AND HYDE tells the tale of a doctor haunted by his work and two women-one beautiful and trusting, the other hopeful but trusting only herself, both in love with the same man but unaware of his dark secret.

Prima Theatre has received special permission (Wildhorn Productions, Music Theatre International) to present a new adaption of the Broadway and international phenomenon.

Directed and choreographed by Joanne Hand (Top Hat, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, West Side Story) alongside Musical Director Steven Hood (Chitty Chity Bang Bang, Strictly Musicals 2), Jekyll & Hyde will run at Darlington Hippodrome later this year.

Broadway Wicked's Tiffany Haas, and Elf: The Musical's Mia Gerachis join Virginia Musical Theatre's limited engagement of Jekyll & Hyde at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, March 2-4. As previously reported, Constantine Maroulis will lead the cast.
