New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players (NYGASP) has announced that Founder and Artistic Director, Albert Bergeret will be stepping down into an Emeritus role after 50 years with the esteemed company.

His enthusiasm for the project is shared by his co-star, Carolyn Anne Miller, who plays Ensign Nellie Forbush. “I have fond memories of the show from the records my grandmother, who was an actor, used to play. I knew all the songs by heart, and it is a thrill to play the role for the first time.”
