The Perelman Performing Arts Center has revealed complete casting for Watch Night at the new performing arts center at the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan. 

Allah-las tapped frequent collaborator Bailey Elder to craft her visual interpretation of the song. With her signature animation style, she captures the cosmic and transitory nature of the track with a mesmerizing procession of patterns, shapes and designs that morph and melt into one another in a choreographed dance through space and time.

Instead of bringing finished songs to the studio, they entered the picturesque Panoramic House recording in Stinson Beach with sketches, ideas, and riffs. Working with co-producer Jeremy Harris (White Fence, Devendra Banhart, Ty Segall) they shaped and crafted the new songs in real time over three sessions.

North American dates begin November 3 at Gabe’s in Iowa City, IA, and then travels through mid-November.

Matt Von Roderick has shared his highly anticipated album: CELESTIAL HEART. Listen to the album in all formats now! His first release from the album, “Fly Me To The Moon,” put a celestial spin on a classic. It was followed by the futuristic “Waking Up On Mars” and then Von Roderick’s take on Willie Dixon’s classic song The Seventh Son.” 

The video is another tease of the band’s forthcoming new album Zuma 85 which will be released via the band’s own label, Calico Discos, in partnership with Innovative Leisure, which released earlier defining statements from the band including the eponymously named Allah-Las (2012) and Worship The Sun (2014).

The upcoming appearances come on the heels of the band’s widely talked about performance at Cruel World Festival in Los Angeles, CA in May and the recently completed recording of its forthcoming album produced by Mario J. McNulty (David Bowie, Lou Reed, Nine Inch Nails). Support on select dates will be provided by Korine.
