All new photos have been released for the pre-Broadway engagement of 1776, opening tonight at the American Repertory Theatre!

The Broadway-bound production of 1776 began performances last week at American Repertory Theater at Harvard University and we've got the first photos of the cast and the new production.

The A.R.T./Roundabout Theatre Company revival of 1776 begins at A.R.T. on Tuesday, May 17 and plays through Sunday, July 24. Following its premiere at A.R.T., 1776 will begin performances in September 2022 at Roundabout’s American Airlines Theatre in New York City before embarking on a 16-city national tour in February 2023.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) celebrates the 125th birthday of Our Town playwright Thorton Wilder with its newest production at the Kalita Humphreys Theater which began performances January 27.

DTC will present the production with English and Spanish spoken throughout the production. It features translated passages by Nilo Cruz and Jeff Augustin. DTC's production is the first Wilder production in the 125th year-long celebration in 2022.

Willis, Christina Austin Lopez, and Bob Hess join the Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company. while Jonathan Norton, DTC playwright-in-residence, has been promoted to a full-time staff member!

Since then, Mikel has been featured in multiple DTC productions and currently features in Cake Ladies at the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre as Tweedy-Bird, a character written specifically for her.
