Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth for one performance only, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 7:30 pm at Segerstrom Hall. Kristin returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts with a phenomenal program that highlights songs from her most recent album, For The Girls.

NOBODY DOES IT BETTER: Chick Singers of the '70s, a collection of hit songs by Linda Ronstadt, Donna Summer, Anne Murray, Helen Reddy, and other superstars, will be presented in the SideNotes Cabaret of Sunset Playhouse, September 30 through October 3, 2021.

Following the success of the 2020 Emmy nominated TV special, “A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt at The Soraya,” Aida Cuevas and La Marisoul team up once again for another night celebrating the iconic musical legend -- this time joined by esteemed jazz vocalist Luciana Souza. 

On Friday, September 10, I had the pleasure of seeing THE SOUNDS OF THE SEVENTIES, reprised at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre. This approximate two hour performance includes nearly fifty different songs, performed by the extremely talented four original cast members. Mikayla Petrilla, Saige Bryan, Robert Peterpaul, and Everton Ricketts all have incredible voices, strong stage presences, tremendous acting skills, tight stage chemistry with each other, and a positive attitude of genuinely enjoying their performance, radiating positive energy all throughout the audience!

Fleur Seule has a lot to show for the last year and a half and they will be showing it on September 26th for all their local fans.

It's two seasons done for NiCori Studios smash-hit concert series, and they are taking it out in style with shows by three of the industry's biggest names and talents.

In over five decades in the music business, Steve Tyrell has achieved success as a singer, producer, musical supervisor, and most recently, radio host. For his work, he has earned a Grammy, a Daytime Emmy, and an ACE Award.

Touching on genres ranging from rock, country, folk, light opera, big band and mariachi, Elizabeth Ward Land finds her perfect vocal match in this salute to the great Linda Ronstadt.

On Wednesday night, Broadway veteran Elizabeth Ward Land returned to The Green Room 42 with her acclaimed concert STILL WITHIN THE SOUND OF MY VOICE- THE SONGS OF LINDA RONSTADT for a special one-night-only encore.

In 2020, Elizabeth Ward Land (Amazing Grace, Scandalous, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Memphis, City of Angels) won the Bistro Award for Outstanding Tribute Show for her work on STILL WITHIN THE SOUND OF MY VOICE: THE SONGS OF LINDA RONSTADT. Tonight she gave a repeat performance of that award-winning show at The Green Room 42. She hadn't finished the first number before it became clear why her show won awards. Not only is Elizabeth Ward Land a compelling actress and singer, her show is well structured, well written, well directed, and impeccably performed. She uses the facts of Linda Ronstadt's Life, a young girl who leaves her home and family in Tuscon for an uncertain future in music, to tell the story of Elizabeth Ward Land, a young girl who leaves her home and family in Denver for an uncertain future in theatre. They have much in common.

Last seen in 2017 when she wowed audiences in ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE, and then again for a single knockout number in the MSMT Gala 60th Anniversary Concert in 2018, Christine Mild returned to the Pickard stage this week for three solo concerts in which she unleashed the power and splendor of her voice and the sheer dazzling dynamism of her stage presence. In a generous, two-hour evening, entitled CHRISTINE & PATSY TOGETHER AGAIN in honor of its core sets, Christine Mild, sang the music of Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Linda Ronstadt, and Patti LaBelle, paying tribute to these iconic legends at the same time she puts her own highly original stamp on each song.

Entertainment is alive and well with performances from Broadway to Cabaret. Beginning October 2, 2021 at 7:30 pm, Kristin Chenoweth returns and marks the reopening of Segerstrom Hall with a special evening of music.

As live performances return to venues throughout Southern California, Irvine Barclay Theatre has announced nearly 20 shows that it has added to its season, which kicks off on September 19 with the country chart-topping trio The Gatlin Brothers.

This season looks to be very exciting at the FSCJ Artist Series with Broadway productions, concerts, ballets, operas, comedy shows, dance productions, school performances and variety shows.
