What did our critic think of THE GIPSY KINGS at The San Diego Syphony's Rady Shell? The only empty seats at the Rady Shell's high-energy Gipsy Kings concert were the hundreds unoccupied while their associated booties were swaying in the aisles below waving arms. Nicolas Reyes sang 'Quiero Saber' to begin the bass-heavy, multi-guitar rhythmic onslaught. His hoarse and passionate voice has made him one of the world’s most popular flamenco singers.

The season will start with Broadway vocal sensation Jessica Vosk, known for her knockout performances in Wicked and Fiddler on the Roof, singing a program called California Dreamin’ on Friday, September 29 at 8 PM. Then Emmy Award® and Tony Award®-winning star Mandy Patinkin is in concert with Being Alive with Adam Ben-David on Piano on Thursday, November 2 at 8 PM.

Chandler Center for the Arts has announced its 'Showtime Series,' a Sunday matinee concert series of nostalgic music of different eras. The Showime Series is comprised of three concerts including Take It Easy - Songs of the '70s, Country Gals, and Dick Clark's Countdown to the 1950s and 1960s.

Twenty limited-edition Al Hirschfeld prints – signed by the iconic stage and screen stars featured in the image – are now available for auction, with all proceeds to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Al Hirschfeld Foundation.

Classical-crossover stars BRANDEN & JAMES, as seen on 'America's Got Talent,' will perform at The Mansion of Saratoga in Rock City Falls this Thurs. June 22 with special guest Effie Passero of 'American Idol' fame.
