This Week's New Classified Listings on BroadwayWorld for 4/7/2022 include new jobs for those looking to work in the theatre industry.

Keen Company Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein today announced the first cast members for the Gala Benefit Reading of the beloved Broadway comedy Light Up the Sky by Moss Hart, directed by Mr. Silverstein and featuring an all-star cast. 

Westport Country Playhouse will present “Next to Normal: Dig Deeper,” a series of special events, free-of-charge and open to the community, surrounding the first production of its 2022 season, the pop/rock musical, “Next to Normal,” playing April 6 - 24.  The events will enhance the community's insight on the production and its themes.

Get a first look at photos from Lincoln Center Theater's production of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic The Skin of Our Teeth, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). The production, which will coincide with the 125th anniversary of Mr. Wilder's birth, will also mark the Beaumont and Broadway debuts of LCT Resident Director Lileana Blain-Cruz and will open on Monday, April 25th.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced that the North American tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s critically acclaimed production of Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY is coming as a part of its 2021/2022 Kravis On Broadway season.  Directed by Bartlett Sher, the North American tour will play the Kravis Center from April 19 – 24.

The Public Theater will begin performances for the New York premiere of THE VAGRANT TRILOGY on Friday, April 8 with a Joseph Papp Free Performance, after the cancellation of the 2020 production just five days before the first performance and a two-year postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announced Eisa Davis as the first recipient of the Roth-Vogel New Play Commission launched in partnership with 12-time Tony Award-winning producer Daryl Roth and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel, whose extraordinary collaborations with The Vineyard have spanned over two decades.

PREMIERES NYC has announced the expansion of its bi-annual commissioning series INNER VOICES with the New York premiere production of Los Otros, a musical in one act with book & lyrics by Tony Award nominee Ellen Fitzhugh (Grind, Paradise Found) and music by five-time Tony Award nominee Michael John LaChiusa (The Wild Party, Giant). 

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Broadway Across America have announced the 2022-2023 Broadway in Miami season in the Ziff Ballet Opera House with a five-show subscription package that includes two South Florida premieres, two Miami premieres and a highly anticipated return.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced its upcoming production of Epiphany, a new play by Brian Watkins, directed by Tyne Rafaeli.  Epiphany will begin previews Thursday, May 19 and open on Thursday, June 16 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). 

Stephen K Amos will play the role of Alfred P. Doolittle. Stephen is a BAFTA award-winning comedian whose stage work includes My Night With Reg and One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Malcolm Sinclair will play the role of Colonel Pickering. Malcolm has performed in more than 50 theatrical productions and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2019 Olivier Awards for his performance in Pressure at The Ambassador's Theatre. 

North Carolina Theatre has announced the full cast for Ring of Fire with music and lyrics by Johnny Cash directed by Randy Redd, who was a part of the Original Broadway cast of Ring of Fire.  Performances will run from April 29 – May 8 at A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced an online ticket lottery for its production of Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning classic THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH, beginning with its first preview on Friday, April 1st at 8pm at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2022-2023 season. The new Ordway Presents Series features four concerts, including Broadway titan Patti LuPone and multi-genre recording artist and instrumentalist Damien Sneed.

Next season, Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of André Bishop) will bring the world of Lerner & Loewe’s CAMELOT to vibrant life once again when it produces a new version of the classic tale, reimagined for the 21st century. Featuring a book by Academy and Emmy Award winning writer Aaron Sorkin, based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, and direction by Bartlett Sher, Lerner & Loewe’s CAMELOT is scheduled to begin performances on Thursday, November 3 and open on Thursday, December 8 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

The cast and creative team for the Broadway-bound limited engagement of The Kite Runner at The Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street) this summer.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has extended the run of its production of AT THE WEDDING, a new play by Bryna Turner, directed by Jenna Worsham, through Sunday, April 24 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).  The production, which opened Monday, March 21, was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, April 17.
