Photo Flash: Mary Testa and Mitch Tebo Join In On The Fun at FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: THE NEXT GENERATION

It's an honor to be spoofed by Gerard Allesandrini in his “Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation” and Mary Testa joined in the fun last night at the Triad Theater catching the show with some her fellow “Oklahoma!” company and then meeting face to face with Jenny Lee Stern who plays her as Aunt Eller in the “Oklahoma!” number.  Also at the show was Mitch Tebo from the cast of Oklahoma! who also joined in the fun.

Miranda recently chatted with Page Six about the project. 'I was a kid who wanted to be a filmmaker all my life,' Miranda explained. 'I was the kid who found it easier to have a camcorder on my arm than engage with people my age,' he said. 'So when I watched 'Rent' and there's a character who's always spinning a camera, and at one point, another character goes, 'You just film us because you're scared of connecting' ... I went [gestures to looking uncomfortable], in the last row of Nederlander Theatre was Jonathan Larson attacking me and my adolescence.'

BEETLEJUICE Joins BroadwayCon 2020 MainStage Lineup

BroadwayCon announced today BEETLEJUICE has joined the MainStage lineup at BroadwayCon 2020. As part of MainStage programming, the BEETLEJUICE Spotlight session will feature members of the cast on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Additional MainStage programming will be announced at a later date.
