On Thursday, July 18th, Tony® Award winner Santino Fontana surprised the students of Broadway Artists Alliance during their exciting week of master classes and rehearsals in the heart of New York City. It's been a little over a month since Fontana took home the 2019 Tony® award for playing Michael Dorsey/Dorothy Michaels in Tootsie, but he is also well known for his roles in Cinderella, Hello, Dolly!, Billy Elliot, The Importance of Being Earnest, and for his various roles on screen in shows and movies like Frozen, Crazy-Ex Girlfriend and Fosse/Verdon. Fontana took time out of his busy show schedule to share some encouraging words with the young performers.

The coffeehouse meets the cabaret as a?oePoetry/Cabareta?? (Time Out NY-recommended) returns after a hit first season at The Green Room 42, to once again bring together poets and performers in an evening of stimulating variations on a theme. Season two opens with a?oePoetry/Cabaret: RECLAIMED!a?? as curator and host Thomas March (Aftermath) and the cast reclaim their time, themselves, their sense, and their sanitya?"or rediscover what's been there all along.

Next week, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The starry lineup is set for the next concert in the year-long Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On July 29 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Alanis: Unplugged, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the alternative rock star's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.

Sony Masterworks Broadway will release HALF TIME (ORIGINAL CAST RECORDING) on August 2nd, with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and additional music by Marvin Hamlisch and Ester Dean.

Tony award winner Cady Huffman returns to The Green Room 42 with her critically acclaimed sold out one woman show Miss. Peggy Lee: In Her Own Words and Music for two more shows on Weds. July 24th and Weds. July 31st. Broadway World's own Richard Ridge caught up with Cady and her long time collaborator, writer director Will Nunziata during a break in rehearsal to chat about bringing the life and career of the legendary Peggy Lee to the stage.

Award-winning recording artist and actress Nicole Henry returns to Feinstein's 54 Below in the Fall with "I Wanna Dance With Somebody!" - a brand-new concert-event celebrating the songs of Whitney Houston. Modern American drama was born in Provincetown when the Provincetown Players were founded in July, 1915. Producer The Green Room 42 played host on Friday, June 14, 2019, to the fourth edition variety show of The Early Night Show LIVE! created, written, directed, accompanied, and performed by 12 year old Joshua Turchin. The young performer, writer and composer drew lots of laughs and applause throughout the cabaret featuring music, sketch comedy, improv, and special guests.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' June 14, 2019 at 7pm. Turchin previously performed several successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage.
