Con el objetivo de promover la creación teatral en México para que llegue al mayor número de personas, el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal), a través de la Coordinación Nacional de Teatro, en colaboración con las instancias culturales de los estados participantes, el 17 Festival de Monólogos Teatro a una sola voz contará con dos circuitos regionales en los que serán escenificados 14 montajes de Veracruz, Guanajuato, Sonora, Oaxaca, Ciudad de México, Baja California e Hidalgo, del 16 de julio al 14 de agosto.
