Rodriguez; Kinky Boots cast and creatives Cyndi Lauper, Jerry Mitchell, Stark Sands, Annaleigh Ashford, Lena Hall, and the Ogunquit Playhouse cast of the smash hit musical; the Broadway cast of Ain't Too Proud; along with Kelly Ripa, Debra Messing, Lin Manuel Miranda, Patina Miller, Nathan Lee Graham, Miss J, Peppermint, and designer Christian Siriano.

Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical, which concluded at run at New York City Center in September,  is heading down under. BroadwayWorld has just learned that the musical will launch an Australian arena tour from Sydney in 2020. Tour stops will include:

The Arthur Miller Foundation's annual Arthur Miller Foundation Honors will be hosted by Bradley Cooper. The evening will celebrate the power of public school arts education and honor those who have made significant contributions to the arts in their own way. Steven Spielberg & Kate Capshaw have signed on to Co-Chair the event alongside Rebecca Miller, Sandi Farkas, Janine & Michael Smith.  Honors to take place on November 18, 2019 at Second Floor in New York City. The celebration will raise funds for the Foundation's public school theater education programs, featuring notable talent from film, television, and Broadway.  This year, the foundation will feature the songs of Cole Porter, directed by Tony Award Winner Michael Mayer. The evening will include one-night only performances, including appearances by Tony & Drama Desk Award Winner, Sutton Foster, Emmy and Golden Globe Award Winner, Darren Criss, Obie and Drama Desk Award Winner, Raúl Esparza, Tony Award Winner, Lena Hall, Grammy & Emmy Award Winner, Christopher Jackson, and Winner of the Hoofer Award for tap artistry, Ayodele Casel.

David Byrne's American Utopia just celebrated opening night yesterday, October 20 at the intimate Hudson Theatre on Broadway. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and we're taking you to the star-studded red carpet below!

Jason Robert Brown has revealed his next guest joining him in residency at SubCulture and it is none other than Tony winner herself, Betty Buckley. Buckley is set for three appearances, November 23rd, 24th and 25th. 

LIVING FOR TODAY will present a benefit concert entitled Living for Today: a?oePut on a Happy Facea??, on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) beginning at 7PM. The concert is produced and directed by David Alpert (If/Then, The Apple Boys) with music direction by Jason Wetzel (After Midnight). Tickets are priced $15 and $25; with a select amount of $100 VIP seats which includes an after-show champagne toast with the company. Tickets are available at www.joespub.com. The concert will feature a live band and Broadway stars performing their favorite showtunes, all chosen to make us smile.

Darren Criss and Lena Hall check out the Broadway revival of Oklahoma!

On Saturday, October 5th, Elsie Fest returned to Central Park. Broadway's outdoor music festival Elsie Fest is a musical celebration of the Broadway stage and screen, led by singer and actor Darren Criss.

During Saturday's Snowpiercer panel at New York Comic-Con, the show's showrunner Graeme Manson explained how the show will be different from the 2013 Bong Joon-ho film of the same name, according to TVGuide.

Ariana DeBose and Sara Niemietz will join Jason Robert Brown at SubCulture! The show takes place on Monday, October 14 at 7pm.

The biggest day for Broadway fans, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, raised $870,167.

The cast of Bat Out Of Hell came speeding into Broadway Sessions recently. Like...well... a bat out of hell! Just days before they ended their epic run at City Center cast members brought all the drama, passion and magic that the show embodies to the Broadway Sessions stage. Enjoy highlights from performances by Tony winner Lena Hall, Bradley Dean, Danielle Steers, Adam Kemmerer, Avionce Hoyles, Andres Quintero, Jessica Jaunich, Tiernan Tunnicliffe, Nick Martinez as well as Rising Stars Jesse Carrey and Aryn Bohannon. It's HOT in hell and we like it that way.

Last night, September 5th, Broadway Sessions welcomed cast members from Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell currently playing at Center Center.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Strat and Raven have taken over New York City and for crying out loud, audiences couldn't be more thrilled about it. Andrew Polec and Christina Bennington, the stars of Bat Out of Hell, reprise the roles they originated in London and Toronto for Bat Out of Hell off-Broadway. The new musical plays now through September 8 at New York City Center.
