Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will continue its one-year celebration on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Triad Theatre at 8:00 pm. Joining the continuing anniversary show as special guests are musical theater singing sensation Robert Bannon and American Idol Season 19 Top 10 finalist Alyssa Wray.

BroadwayWorld caught up with Pentatonix to discuss their new album, their favorite memories on tour, and what musical they think should get the a cappella treatment.

Lea Salonga has been featured on Pentatonix's new holiday albu, Holidays Around The World! Salonga sings along with the a capella group on a rendition of Jose Mari Chan’s Christmas In Our Hearts.

Twenty one limited-edition prints of acclaimed caricature artist Al Hirschfeld – signed by the iconic stage and screen stars featured in the image – are being auctioned online to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Al Hirschfeld Foundation, in partnership with Heritage Auctions, the largest collectibles auctioneer in the world.

Broadway Records will release the original cast recording of Knoxville. Based on the novel by James Agee, Knoxville recently played a critically acclaimed world premiere run at Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. The album will be available everywhere digitally on Friday, October 21, and on physical CD on November 11.

The York Theatre Company has announced the full cast and creative team for will the New York premiere of Hoagy Carmichael’s Stardust Road, conceived by Susan H. Schulman, Michael Lichtefeld, and Lawrence Yurman, developed with Hoagy Bix Carmichael, and featuring music by the legendary Hoagy Carmichael. 

Two-time GRAMMY and Oscar Award–winner Peabo Bryson brings an intimate concert experience to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 8 p.m. 

Sophia made her Broadway debut in David Harrower’s Blackbird, co-starring Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams. In its 12th year, The Outstanding Filipino American Awards (TOFA), founded by journalist Elton Lugay, were still brimming with historic firsts.
