Premiering on October 23, DREAMBOY is the creation of storyteller, performer and composer Dane Terry, and Ellie Heyman, who was a co-director and co-developer of The Orbiting Human Circus (of the Air) podcast. Set over a few flickering nights in Cleveland, DREAMBOY is a mystery about dreams, unexplained deaths, relentless change, and the parts of ourselves that we wish other people knew to look for.

When an up-and-coming Latino couple purchases a home in a sought-after neighborhood beside the prize-winning garden of a prominent Washington D.C. family, conflicts over fences and flora spiral into an uproarious clash of cultures, exposing both couples' notions of race, taste, class, and privilege. On March 8-18, Bother Line, an original Nettles Artists Collective (NAC)-produced one-woman performance created by actress Gio Mielle, will re-emerge at the Tank. Bother Line will have a seven-show stretch and will kick off Women's History Month on International Women's Day. The solo performance shines a light on the microaggressions that weaken and destroy women and culture.

'Distant Observer: Tokyo/New York Correspondence' is a collaboration between Japanese playwright/director Takeshi Kawamura and American playwright/director John Jesurun. The project is conceived as a play written and directed in collaborative partnership by both artists. Written in sequential chapters by each playwright, it combines two noted and formative artists of the same generation, both with distinct voices and significant work, in a deep creative conversation across cultures. Its plot follows a supposed murderer who reinvents himself, and is reinvented by circumstance, in a series of adventures in the Suicide Forest of Japan. La MaMa will present the play's world premiere, directed by Jesurun, March 16 to April 1 in its Ellen Stewart Theatre, 66 East Fourth Street.
