OF GREEN GABLES Marks First Joint Production Of Parallel 45 Theatre And Interlochen Center For The Arts

Parallel 45 Theatre and Interlochen Center for the Arts are embarking on their official partnership with a contemporary twist on L.M. Montgomery's beloved novel, Anne of Green Gables. Of Green Gables, an abstract exploration of the classic story, is directed by Parallel 45's Shelby Lewis and will feature Interlochen Arts Academy theatre students at Interlochen's Phoenix Theatre on Thursday, March 12; Friday, March 13; and Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m., with an additional performance March 14 at 2 p.m. Admission is free and tickets are not needed.

Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is beginning 2020 with an onstage adaptation of the beloved classic novel a?oeAnne of Green Gablesa?? by L.M. Montgomery. The stage play by the same name is reimagined by playwright R. N. Sandberg, and follows the story of young orphan Anne Shirley and the place in which she accidentally finds family, friends, and home. Anne of Green Gables opens to the public this Saturday, February 1 and runs through February 23 with performances on Saturdays and Sundays. This production is generously presented by Universal Orlando Foundation. Tickets are on sale now at orlandorep.com.

Penobscot Theatre Company Dramatic Academy is excited to announce open registration for the upcoming after school youth production of Anne Of Green Gables. Dan Hanchrow, Assistant Director for A Wrinkle In Time and fall instructor for Young Adult Performance Conservatory, returns to helm this production as the Director. Overseeing the production will be incoming Interim Director of Education, Ben Layman, a veteran teaching artist at Dramatic Academy as well as a frequent actor on the Penobscot Theatre Company's Main Stage.
