The Peterborough Players opens their 3rd Annual Winter season opens with It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, adapted by Joe Landry, playing December 6-16.

Following an amazing summer season, the Players return for their 3rd Annual Winter Season. First in the 3-play line-up is a classic holiday tale told from a new perspective, followed in January by the return of one of their most popular productions, and they close out the season in February with a thrilling play.

The Players fifth and sixth shows of the summer offer something for everyone, with George Bernard Shaw's The Man of Destiny playing August 15-26 and a musical adaptation of Pippi Longstocking playing August 18-25.

The Players are ringing in the New Year with news that they have been recognized for their work during the 2017 Summer Season with 19 finalist nominations for the New Hampshire Theatre Awards! Of their 7 Main Stage productions this past Summer Season, 2 plays were eligible for consideration: The Producers and The Doctor's Dilemma - the 19 finalist nominations are from those 2 productions in a variety of categories.

First is a classic holiday tale told from a new perspective, followed in February by a touching look at all the things worth holding onto in life, and closing out the season with the New Hampshire Premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's new comedy.

Want to make it big on Broadway? Produce a stinker of a play! Or at least that is the scheme hatched by a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer, Max Bialystock, and a peculiar accountant, Leo Bloom. Sounds easy, right… but what if the play turns out to be a hit?! Winner of a record 12 Tony Awards, Broadway comes to Peterborough with this gloriously entertaining, insanely funny musical.
