When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. But he's not prepared for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, who is determined to exercise control over the town's youth. When the reverend's rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren's reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. The heartfelt story that emerges pins a father longing for the son he lost against a young man aching for the father who walked out on him.

Showtime has announced a new premiere date for the third season of CITY ON A HILL starring Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge. The original premiere date of July 10 has been moved due to scheduling shifts. The series also stars Jill Hennessy, Lauren E. Banks and Matthew Del Negro, and guest stars including Corbin Bernsen, Joanne Kelly and Ernie Hudson.

Peacock announced today its new original film THEY/THEM, pronounced “They-slash-Them,” from Blumhouse will premiere Friday, August 5. The LGBTQIA+ horror film, formerly known as ‘Whistler Camp,’ is a queer empowerment story set at a gay conversion camp.
2022 Caroga Lake Music Festival Season Announced

Today, the Caroga Arts Collective announced the complete 2022 Caroga Lake Music Festival summer lineup, featuring over 35 concerts with 20 Guest Artists and nearly 100 CLMF Resident Artists. This will mark the first time since 2019 that Caroga Arts Ensemble will return as a full orchestra and will present a variety of repertoire including its first major symphony, Beethoven's 7th Symphony.
