Shakespeare's Globe announced the cast for A WORLD ELSEWHERE, a new show inspired by Shakespeare's tales, directed by Lucy Cuthbertson and co-written by Kerry Frampton and Ben Hales, running at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
This summer, join Shakespeare's Globe for a season bursting with world-class artists, lesser-known classics, and much-loved plays, in two of the most iconic theatres in the world.
Shakespeare’s Globe has announced that the new musical Pinocchio will return for the 2026 festive season. Based on Carlo Collodi’s original stories, Pinocchio is directed by Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes.
Pinocchio at the Globe Theatre is a radiant and heartfelt triumph which transforms a much loved story into a richly imaginative new musical. The atmosphere is electric, with the standing audience filling the lower space, with a striking set emblazoned with giant letters spelling PINOCCHIO framed by grand red curtains, ensuring the sense of occasion is unmistakable.
Established in 1976, the Olivier Awards celebrate the world-class status of London theatre, and are Britain’s most prestigious stage honours. Leading the way this year is Tom Scutt's Fiddler on the Roof which matches Hamilton's record-breaking 13 nominations, represented in every acting and creative category.

These resources are often made available in the form of helpful visual guides, sensory and symbol maps, all of which are brilliantly inclusive for those with neurodiversity or additional needs.

At Rough Magic prepare to enter Shakespeare’s wondrous world to become a Guardian of Destiny. The audience interaction is aimed at children in the audience, who choose which department they wish to join. Options include Fairy, Ghost, Spirit or Witch. The playful atmosphere is instantly set at The Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, the beautiful Jacobean-styled candle-lit indoor small theatre, which is located within Shakespeare’s Globe.

The Sleeping Trees are doing it all. After their phenomenal first online lockdown panto from last year, they’re back not only with an in-person takeover of Battersea Arts Centre, but with an incredible on-demand show too. Catering for all types of audiences and their needs, Sleeping Beauty and the Beast (at the theatre) and Puss in Moon Boots (in living rooms everywhere) couldn’t be more different, but they both share Sleeping Trees’ perfectly brilliant Christmas spirit. Unlikely heroes and evil villains lead to adventures like no others in their utterly unexpected and captivating mash-ups.
Not even a pandemic could stop brilliant comedy trio Sleeping Trees to spread their customary Christmas cheer. In a year ridden with uncertainty and the subversion of habitual theatre conventions, the company have created a joyous, hilarious, heartwarming, and absolutely ingenious panto for the whole family to enjoy - preferably in their jammies.
