Cast Set For A WORLD ELSEWHERE at Shakespeare's Globe

Shakespeare's Globe has announced the cast and creative team of A World Elsewhere in the indoor Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, running from 25 July – 30 August 2026, directed by Director of Education Lucy Cuthbertson and co-written by Splendid Production's Artistic Director Kerry Frampton and Associate Director Ben Hales. Following a nomination for Best Family Show at the 2025 Olivier Awards for their hit show Rough Magic, the team return this summer with a brand-new show, inspired by tales from Shakespeare.

The cast will comprise Kerry Frampton as Sarah, Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos as Cover, Kyle Ndukuba as Cass, Tanvi Virmani as Cobweb, and Zachary Willis as Big Guy.

Director Lucy Cuthbertson says: “I'm very excited to invite audiences into our third, new summer family show A World Elsewhere, in co-production again with the genius team Splendid Productions. Enter the imagine-nation of an 11-year-old boy, Cass, meet the imaginary friends he has created to make sense of life and share what happens when the outside world threatens this creativity. We are as excited by the characters as the brilliant cast who will be playing them. Inspired by Shakespeare, we aim to make the perfect, interactive, joyous introduction to theatre for younger audiences. And it's very much for adults too. It's genuinely a show for everyone.”

A World Elsewhere is designed by Rose Revitt, with Ben Hales also as Composer. A World Elsewhere was cast by Alice Walters, Casting Associate at Shakespeare's Globe. The cast biographies are as follows:
