Join the celebration as Elton John and Bernie Taupin receive the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize. The lineup includes performances by Garth Brooks, Brandi Carlile, Annie Lennox, Metallica, and Billy Porter.

Musical artists will join the national library and American leaders to honor music legend Joni Mitchell. The lineup will include performances by James Taylor, Brandi Carlile, Annie Lennox, Herbie Hancock, Cyndi Lauper, Marcus Mumford, Graham Nash, Diana Krall and Angelique Kidjo. The concert is by invitation only.

After getting her start performing in coffee shops and nightclubs in her native Canada, Mitchell would go on to set a new standard marrying music and lyrics. With such songs as “Both Sides, Now,” “Chelsea Morning,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” “Woodstock” and “The Circle Game,” Mitchell became a household name.

International advocacy organization, Global Citizen, in partnership with Rock In Rio, one of the largest music and entertainment festivals in the world, with 20 editions held in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and the US, today announced Rio de Janeiro as a new city and the addition of Brazilian superstars Alok, Mart'nália, Criolo, and Liniker, along with special guests, Tropkillaz and Mosquito, to Global Citizen Live's broadcast line-up - a combination of festivals and events airing from locations on six continents on Saturday, September 25th.

In January, BroadwayWorld reported that the Grammy Awards had been postponed to an unspecified date in March. Today, we can confirm the ceremony will take place on March 14th!

The Recording Academy®, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS will celebrate 38-time GRAMMY® nominee and seven-time GRAMMY winner Prince with a special broadcast of 'Let's Go Crazy: The GRAMMY Salute To Prince' to be broadcast Tuesday, April 21 (9:00a?"11:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on CBS All Access. During the 2020 Grammy Awards, in a tribute to longtime GRAMMY executive producer Ken Ehrlich, and to acknowledge the importance of music education in schools to the Recording Academy, GRAMMY Museum and Ehrlich, artists performed 'I Sing The Body Electric' from the film Fame. The performance featured Ben Platt, Camila Cabello, Gary Clark Jr. and John Legend, Debbie Allen, Joshua Bell, Common, Misty Copeland, Lang Lang, Cyndi Lauper, and The War And Treaty.

The Recording Academy® has confirmed the final slate of performers for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Previously announced Gary Clark Jr., will be joined by The Roots to perform Clark's GRAMMY-nominated song 'This Land.' Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Trombone Shorty will unite to honor those we have lost this year in a touching In Memoriam piece. And, Sheila E. will take the stage with Usher for an exciting GRAMMY Salute to Prince. In keeping with the tradition of presenting signature 'GRAMMY® Moments,' the Recording Academy® has announced two special segments to take place on the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. The first, 'Old Town Road All-Stars,' will feature current nominees Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus joined by BTS, Diplo, Mason Ramsey, and other surprise guests. Over the past year, 'Old Town Road' has been the subject of numerous mixes and mashups, which inspired bringing together a number of acts who have performed it, making it a one-of-a-kind performance.
