Five-time Grammy Award winner Janet Jackson will make a special appearance at the Recording Academy and Grammy Museum’s 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala to celebrate the induction of her album Rhythm Nation 1814 into the Grammy Hall of Fame. The event takes place on Friday, May 8, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Additional performers have been added to the lineup for the Gala, including multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Erykah Badu, Grammy Award-winning father-daughter duo Fyütch & Aura V, and multi-Grammy Award-nominated artist Taylor Hanson.

Previously announced performers include Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and Funkadelic founder George Clinton; Heart’s founding members Ann and Nancy Wilson, both of whom are Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients; multi-Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban; multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams; multi-Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and pianist Norah Jones; multi-Grammy Award-winning a cappella gospel sextet Take 6; and multi-Grammy Award nominee Teddy Swims.

Performances will pay tribute to the 2026 Grammy Hall Of Fame inducted recordings: Fyütch & Aura V will perform Ella Jenkins’ “You’ll Sing a Song and I’ll Sing a Song”; George Clinton, Funkadelic guitarist Blackbyrd McKnight and Erykah Badu will perform a tribute to Funkadelic’s Maggot Brain; Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson will perform selections from their inducted recording Dreamboat Annie; Lucinda Williams will perform songs from her inducted recording Car Wheels on a Gravel Road; Take 6 will perform The Soul Stirrers’ inducted recording “Jesus Gave Me Water”; and Taylor Hanson will perform a tribute to Nick Drake’s Pink Moon.

Additional performances include a set by Ray Charles Architect of Sound Award recipient Norah Jones, along with Josh Groban and Teddy Swims, who will perform as part of a tribute to this year’s Visionary Of Music Award recipient Warner Records.

The Gala will celebrate the 2026 Grammy Hall Of Fame inducted recordings, a group of 14 titles spanning nearly a century of recorded music from 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me to Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 to Radiohead’s OK Computer. Others include recordings by Alice Coltrane, Bertha “Chippie” Hill, Ella Jenkins, Eric B. & Rakim, Funkadelic, Heart, Lucinda Williams, Nick Drake, The Rouse Brothers, Selena, and The Soul Stirrers. An online auction will run alongside the Grammy Hall Of Fame Gala beginning May 5 and closing May 21, featuring a vast collection of guitars signed by an array of major artists including Charli xcx, ROSÉ, Sabrina Carpenter, and many others, as well as Platinum tickets to the 2027 Grammy Awards. Proceeds will benefit the Grammy Museum. More information will be here after May 5.

Returning as host is journalist Anthony Mason. The show will be produced by former Grammy Awards Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich, alongside Renato Basile, Chantel Sausedo, Lindsay Saunders Carl, and Lynne Sheridan, with musical direction by Grammy and Latin Grammy Award-winning composer, producer and conductor Cheche Alara.
