Prince to Receive Grammy Tribute Featuring Alicia Keys, Beck, Foo Fighters, & More!

Just two days after the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®, the Recording Academy®, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS will celebrate the unparalleled career of 38-time GRAMMY® nominee and seven-time GRAMMY winner Prince by presenting 'Let's Go Crazy: The GRAMMY® Salute to Prince.' The live concert taping will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. PT at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The special will be broadcast later in 2020 on the CBS Television Network. The Recording Academy® has confirmed its first slate of performers for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Set to take the stage on Music's Biggest Night® are 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year® Aerosmith, who will perform a medley of some of their legendary hits; first-time nominee breakout stars Billie Eilish and Lizzo will each make their GRAMMY stage debuts; and powerhouse artists Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will take the GRAMMY stage together for the first time. Chicago, Roberta Flack, & More to Receive 2020 Special Merit Awards from the Recording Academy

The Recording Academy® is honored to announce its 2020 Special Merit Awards recipients. The Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Chicago, Roberta Flack, Isaac Hayes, Iggy Pop, John Prine, Public Enemy and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Ken Ehrlich, Philip Glass and Frank Walker are Trustees Award honorees; and George Augspurger is the Technical GRAMMY® Award recipient. A special award presentation ceremony and concert celebrating the honorees will be held on April 18, 2020, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Additional details regarding the ceremony will be announced shortly.

International advocacy organization Global Citizen today announced that Connie Britton, Nina Dobrev, Becky G, Dakota Johnson, Becky Lynch, Aasif Mandvi, Bridget Moynahan, Kal Penn, Erin Richards, Seth Rollins, Savannah Sellers, David Gray, and NCT 127 will join the 2019 Global Citizen Festival, a free-ticketed event on Saturday, September 28th in Central Park in New York City, presented by Citi and Cisco.

The Recording Academy has announced that longtime producer/executive producer of the GRAMMY Awards®telecasts since 1980, Ken Ehrlich, will executive produce the upcoming 62nd GRAMMY Awards. The telecast, taking place in 2020, will mark Ehrlich's milestone 40th anniversary. Over the last four decades, Ehrlich has organized some of music's most iconic and memorable TV moments and 'redefined the way we experience live music on television' (Los Angeles Times), turning Music's Biggest Night® into the must-see music awards show every year.

The Recording Academy has expanded its lineup for the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards® with a special tribute to eight-time GRAMMY® winner and 2019 MusiCares® Person of the Year Dolly Parton. Making her return to the GRAMMY stage for the first time since 2001, Parton will perform new music from her hit album Dumplin' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). Dolly's special tribute segment will also feature her classic hits sung by Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, and Katy Perry. Additionally, current GRAMMY nominees J Balvin and Young Thug, and GRAMMY winners Ricky Martin and Arturo Sandoval, will join Camila Cabello for an explosive show opener. They join previously announced performers Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Dan + Shay, H.E.R., Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, Musgraves, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Diana Ross. Variety has confirmed with sources that K-pop sensations BTS will present an award at the Grammy Awards, according to Variety. BTS is up for one Grammy this year, Best Recording Package for their “Love Yourself: Tear” album.

 International superstar Celine Dion has announced today that more than 15 years after the premiere of her first critically-acclaimed Las Vegas residency, her second production Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will come to an end on June 8, 2019. Tickets for the final performance and additional 2019 show dates (Feb. 26 through Mar. 16 and May 14 through June 8) will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, Sept 28 at 10 a.m. PST.
