MCC Theater has announced the all-star lineup for their one-night-only benefit fundraiser, Let's Play! Celebrity Game Night.

The production will be directed by Rachel B. Karp, and star co-artistic directors Sydney Tennant (the upcoming film a?oeThe Secreta?? opposite Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas) and Ziggy Schulting (currently touring with Hudson Shakespeare Company) as Guildenstern and Rosencrantz, respectively.

This is a production with much attention to detail and talent. 'Matilda' is delightfully joyful, and unpleasant at the same time. The sweet with the sour is a delicate combination to make in any dish or story. Red Mountain Theatre Company delivers this delightfully structured tale about a brilliant five-year-old girl gifted with a little extra than the ordinary.

Following an official launch party at The Silverlight Tavern, the newly-founded production company 3DaysPrior has announced its first endeavor- a production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Performances will take place at The Upstairs Theater at Saint Paul's Church (334 South 5th Street) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The production will be directed by Rachel B. Samantha Barks, currently starring in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical, PRETTY WOMAN, based off the popular romantic comedy feature film of the same name, is gearing up for her next film project the indie romance, FOR LOVE OR MONEY.  The film is being distributed by Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company and will be available in select theaters and on demand March 15th and is currently live for preorder on iTunes.  Preorder your copy here!  

Producers Anita Greenspan and Tony Hawk with Executive producer Adam Zotovich announced today that a new musical adaptation of the 2007 Nick Hornby novel, SLAM, is in development. This new project will feature a book by Tony Award Nominee Kyle Jarrow (SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical) with music and lyrics by Mark Mothersbaugh (prolific film composer, co-founder of new wave band Devo). Pro-skater Tony Hawk, who is featured as a character in the novel, is a producer on the project and is slated to develop skate choreography.

A Happening of Monumental Proportions is a 2017 American comedy-drama film directed by Judy Greer and starring Allison Janney and Common. Produced by Chris and Paul Weitz, the film is Greer's directorial debut.  It is scheduled to be released on August 24, 2018 by Great Point Media.

Jean Smart (“Legion,” “Fargo”) will recur in Bravo Media's “Dirty John” playing Arlane Hart, Debra's (Connie Britton) mother. Smart will join Britton and Eric Bana in the scripted anthology series based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard. The series reunites Smart with Bana, who she previously starred alongside in the film “Lucky You.”

 Gravitas Ventures announces today that they have acquired worldwide rights to the horror-thriller 14 CAMERAS, directed by Scott Hussion and Seth Fuller.  Written by Victor Zarcoff, the film is the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically-acclaimed horror title 13 CAMERAS (New York Times Critic's Pick), released by Gravitas Ventures in 2015.  The film will be released in theaters and on demand nationwide on July 27th. 

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the return of Tony Award winner LILLIAS WHITE on Monday, June 18 at 7:00 PM. Currently back on stage in the new musical Half Time, White will offer a reprise of her February evening sharing music of love, lust, and loss in an intimate performance. Featuring music from Tim McGraw, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, and Nat King Cole, Lillias runs the gamut of the American Songbook
