Academy Award-winning actor Kathy Bates will be honored at its 19th Annual The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala.

a??a??a??a??a??a??a??The Bret Adams and Paul Reisch Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of their 2019 Idea Awards for Theatre; three grants awarded to adventurous new voices in playwriting and musical theatre, as well the visionary playwrights who have inspired and blazed trails before them.

The Tarrant Actors Regional Theatre will open its 2019-20 season in September with Marsha Norman's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, 'Night, Mother, performed in the Sanders Theatre at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, 1300 Gendy Street, Fort Worth TX 76107. The production is directed by TART Artistic Director Allen Walker.

Over the last decade, Ryan Murphy has become one of the most influential creators in entertainment. The screenwriter, director and producer has won six Emmy Awards out of 28 nominations and a Tony Award in 2019 for Best Revival of a Play, as a producer. He has also earned three Grammy Award nominations, as a producer.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that Academy Award-winning actor Kathy Bates will be honored at its 19th Annual The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala, as part of the organization's partnership with The Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN).
