Award-winning theatre director and producer Jonathan Church CBE, has announced the launch of a new production company Jonathan Church Theatre Productions supported by Trafalgar Entertainment's Joint CEOs Sir Howard Panter and Dame Rosemary Squire.

The Cambridge Arts Theatre Trust is excited to announce that it has secured a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of £100,000 to support the cataloguing of the Theatre's historic archive. The project, made possible by money raised by National Lottery players, is titled 'Behind the Scenes: Saving and Sharing the Heritage of Cambridge Arts Theatre' and will unite and safeguard over 80 years of the Theatre's history.

Manchester International Festival today announces that actors Christopher Eccleston, and Adjoa Andoh and writer Lemn Sissay will perform alongside writer Michael Morpurgo and actor Juliet Stevenson in Ivo van Hove's Re:Creating Europe, which is being presented for one night only at The Lowry theatre on Friday 12 July.
