The UIS Performing Arts Center is adjusting operations as follows in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Due to Governor Pritzker's mandate to cancel or postpone all events with 1,000 or more people immediately, Josh Turner's performance tonight at the UIS Performing Arts Center/Sangamon Auditorium is s postponed. 

Dailey & Vincent are bringing their LANDFEST music festival series to Texas for the first annual LONESTAR LANDFEST, set for May 30 and 31 of this year at The Theatre at Grand Prairie. Tickets went on sale Friday, February 21 and are now available at AXS.com. Along with Dailey & Vincent, the inaugural lineup includes GRAMMY® Award-winners Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Steve Earle & The Dukes. Also featured on the lineup are Jerry Jeff Walker, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bradley Walker, and The Voice season 17 winner Jake Hoot. Dallas Wayne from SiriusXM's Outlaw Country and Willie's Roadhouse will be the MC for both nights of the festival.

BRIGHT STAR tells the story of the unforgettable Alice Murphy, a strong-willed girl growing up and experiencing tragedy in the 1920s, and later in her life in 1940s North Carolina. This beautiful production is the Oklahoma High School premiere of the 2016 Tony-nominated musical that features bluegrass music by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell.

The '90s influenced country band Hot Country Knights has inked a worldwide recording deal with Universal Music Group Nashville (UMGN), it was announced today. Teaming with imprint Capitol Records Nashville, the Knights are promising to bring real '90s country music back to a format that's been drowning in male sensitivity, cashmere cardigan sweaters and programmed drum loops.

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced today that it has added two shows to its 2020 lineupa?"genre-bending Southern rock band Whiskey Myers on Thursday, March 19, and six-time Inspirational Country Music Award winner Josh Turner on Tuesday, March 24. Josh Turner will be performing at Casper Events Center on Wednesday, Saturday, January 18. Tickets start at $39.50 plus applicable fees and go on-sale Friday, December 13 at 10AM.
