Sundance Institute announced today the lineup of films selected to screen in the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions for the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Matt Weaver & Scott Prisand, two of ROCK OF AGES' lead producers and co-owners of the LA-based Corner Store Entertainment, have two films in the top dramatic category at Sundance Film Festival. A third set of presenters has been announced for the 61st Primetime Emmy (R) Awards airing Sunday, Sept. 20, on CBS. Primetime Emmy Award winners Michael J. TVGuide.com is reporting that Tony Award nominee Frances Conroy has been cast on the CBS sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother' as the mother of Neil Patrick Harris' character Barney Stinson. Conroy will appear on the hit CBS this season, the episode according to TV Guide, is titled 'The Stinsons,' and is described as 'the gang discovers that Barney has a fake wife-and-kid on call should his mother ever come to town'.
