CASA 0101 Theater will present the world premiere of SOUL SACRIFICE, written by Consuelo G. Flores and directed by Kenneth Castillo, at the Gloria Molina Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The Hispanic Federation will host its 10th Annual Children's Film Festival at the Julia de Burgos Performance and Arts Center. Josefina L pez, the award-winning playwright and screenwriter and Founding Artistic Director of the venerable CASA 0101 Theater located in Boyle Heights, CA will be celebrating a triple crown of signature events this month.

CASA 0101 Theater, Josefina Lopez, Artistic Director and the newly formed production company, Angel City Theater Ensemble (ACTE), Vance Valencia, Founder, will present the Los Angeles Premiere of the critically acclaimed play, MARIELA IN THE DESERT, written by Karen Zacarias, directed by Robert Beltran (Star Trek:  Voyager; Zoot Suit; Eating Raoul).  The production will be presented for a five-week run on the theater's Main Stage located at 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA  90033 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 5:00 p.m., November 4 - December 11, 2016.  There will be no performances on Thanksgiving Weekend, November 25th, 26th and 27th.

CASA 0101 Theater, Josefina Lopez, Artistic Director, continues the theater's 15th 'Quiceañera' Anniversary celebration by presenting the World Premiere production of AN L.A. JOURNEY - The Story of Lorenzo Alfredo, co-written by Emmanuel Deleage and Lorenzo Alfredo and directed by Emmanuel Deleage. The production will be presented on the theater's Main Stage located at 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033 todays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 5:00 p.m., tonight, May 8 (Press Opening Night) - June 7, 2015.
