La vie boheme! A live presentation of Jonathan Larson's groundbreaking, Tony Award-, GRAMMY Award-, and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical phenomenon Rent will air on FOX TV next January, starring Tinashe, Vanessa Hudgens, Jordan Fisher, and Brennin Hunt.

Retreat to Broadway, a national non-profit project that pairs innovative programming with live theater, is launching their second national arts education initiative focused on the groundbreaking musical, RENT. Not only does Retreat to Broadway want to help increase viewership for Fox's national telecast of 'RENT Live!' on January 27, but they also want to provide a unique framework to discuss the important themes RENT presents its audiences: celebrating differences, empathy, cultural diversity, addiction, mindfulness, conflict resolution, acceptance of self and others, etc.

There's no day but January 27, 2019 when it comes to FOX's Rent. Today additional casting was announced for the live broadcast of the rock musical phenomenon, and some familiar Broadway faces are among the ensemble of bohemians that will bring the East Village to life on national television.

The Green Room 42 brings New Generation Theater Company's 'Louder Than Words' to New York City for a one night only engagement. 'Louder Than Words', is a musical tribute to one of Broadway's most celebrated composers, Jonathan Larson. The performance will play Saturday, January 19th at 7:00pm at The Green Room 42. The night will feature musical numbers from both 'Rent' and 'tick.. tick... BOOM' including 30/90, One Song Glory, Johnny Can't Decide, Out Tonight, Louder Than Words and more!

Back by popular demand, On The Rocks Theatre Company remounts their festive holiday bar pageant, Edelweiss, in the Dixon Place Lounge. The production is written by On The Rocks co-founders Christopher Ford & Dakota Rose with original music by their frequent collaborator Andrew R. Butler. Ms. Rose helms the production as director. Edelweiss will play four performances only - December 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd at 7:30p, in the Dixon Place Lounge. Admission is FREE. Tickets can be reserved by visiting www.dixonplace.org.
