Zoom in on NAC Southam Hall as the 20th Anniversary Tour of RENT plays Oct. 22-27.

The Willard Suitcases, a new musical by Julianne Wick Davis, makes its world premiere debut at the American Shakespeare Center on October 4, directed by Ethan McSweeny and featuring Nancy Anderson (Wonderful Town Broadway, Kiss Me Kate West End). Inspired by Jon Crispin's photographs of suitcases discovered abandoned in the derelict Willard Asylum, Davis' song-cycle imagines the lives of the patients who packed those bags.

Redhouse launches its season with Jonathan Larson's Rent, which will run now through September 29, 2019. The show is co-directed by Redhouse Artistic Director, Tony Nominated actor and Director Hunter Foster and Broadway Veteran Actress Jennifer Cody who will also choreograph the show.

RENT 20th Anniversary Tour will return to Jacksonville due to popular demand. 23 composers and playwrights have contributed new works to Blindspot Collective's upcoming production of Hall Pass, an immersive musical being presented by La Jolla Playhouse for the 2019 Without Walls Festival. During the performance, audiences will choose where to go and what to watch as 18 distinct plays and musicals unfold across the High Tech High campus in Liberty Station. Inspired in part by research and interviews conducted with high school students in New York, West Virginia, Illinois, Texas, and California, Hall Pass will feature a cast of 37 professional performers joined by students from the theatre department at Canyon Crest Academy.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce that 3-play subscriptions for the 2020 Summer Mainstage Season are now on sale to buy or renew. Each subscription includes one ticket to each of the 3 Mainstage productions, and a special greatly reduced price for a 4th show during the summer season. Subscriptions are available for Tuesday through Sunday evenings as well as matiness and start at just $141 and go up depending upon day of the week. Subscription pricing is the least expensive way of seeing the Mainstage summer shows, except for students who can attend for free on Sunday matinees, and those under age 20 who can attend for $20, and those under age 30 who can pay just $30.

On Sunday, September 22, Jonathan Larson Grant recipient Andy Roninson, along with a talented cast of musicians and vocalists, will perform songs from his internationally acclaimed podcast TAKE A TEN, as well as never-before-heard material from new musicals in the works.
