Hamilton is a masterpiece - one that miraculously delivers despite all the hype that surrounds it. It really is that good! But with a cast on Broadway, many in cities in the U.S. and London, you may wonder is it worth seeing the touring cast? I have one short answer- YES!

Your Kids, Our Kids (Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, Founding Directors) presented the 6th Annual VOICES FOR THE VOICELESS: Stars For Foster Kids, an event that brings together the very best performers from the American stage and screen to raise awareness about the plight of kids in foster care, particularly those aged 13 and older who are in danger of aging out of the foster care system alone, last night, Thursday, February 6th at 7pm at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street, NYC).

Today, the Academy announced that 9 Elsas from around the world will join Idina Menzel to perform Frozen 2's 'Into the Unknown' at the Oscars on Sunday, February 9. 

It was announced today that Lin-Manuel Miranda Tony-winning Broadway musical Hamilton would be released in theaters by Disney in 2021. According to Deadline, Disney paid $75 million for worldwide rights to the musical, which may be the largest acquisition to date. Disney has a commitment for a wide global theatrical release for the 2 hour, 40 minute movie, which was shot two weeks before the original cast left.

Lin-Manuel Miranda announced on Twitter today that Disney will present the HAMILTON movie featuring the original Broadway cast (filmed live on stage) October 15, 2021.

During last night's episode of Saturday Night Live, the parody sketch show performed a spoof of Frozen 2!

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of a?oeMiracle on South Division Street,a?? a comedy about family, faith, and adjusting to life's surprises, by Tom Dudzick, on Monday, February 24, at 7 p.m.  Co-curators and co-directors of the Script in Hand Series are Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist, and Mark Shanahan, director, actor, and playwright. 

We've seen a lot of covers of Into the Unknown from Frozen 2, but here's a new unique one from Norwegian musician Leo Moracchioli. Moracchioli took to YouTube to upload a metal cover of the Disney song, originally sung by Idina Menzel, complete with Elsa costume.

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre will present the divine comedy An Act of God, February 13 - March 8, with previews February 11 and 12. Due to a large advance, and the increasingly popularity of the Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series, An Act of God is adding a week of performances, which was originally scheduled to close on March 1.
