The 2017 BroadwayWorld UK Awards honour the best productions from the past year around the country and the best long-running West End shows. Voting is open until midnight on Friday, 8 December, with the winners announced soon afterwards.

Actress Lucie Shorthouse stars in new musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, which transferred from Sheffield to the West End's Apollo Theatre - garnering rave reviews, including plenty of praise for Shorthouse's breakout turn as Pritti.

A big hit at Sheffield Crucible, new British musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie - based on a documentary about a teenage boy coming out as a drag queen - is now a hit in the West End. Everybody's Talking About Jamie is now in previews at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End, following a hit run at Sheffield Crucible. It's directed by Jonathan Butterell and written by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae, and stars John McCrea as Jamie and Josie Walker as his mother Margaret.

Josie Walker's work ranges from Matilda the Musical to Husband & Sons and War Horse. She's now starring in a new musical based on the real story of 16-year-old Jamie Campbell, who wanted to become a drag queen, and his supportive mother Margaret. Following a hit Sheffield run, it's currently in previews at the Apollo Theatre.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie begins previews at the Apollo Theatre on Monday 6 November for an opening on Wednesday 22 November 2017. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the company in rehearsal below!

After receiving rave reviews during its run at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre, new musical Everyone's Talking About Jamie is making the final preparations for its transfer to the Apollo Theatre in November.
