BWW TV: Amanda Holden and John McCrea On EVERYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE

A big hit at Sheffield Crucible, new British musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie - based on a documentary about a teenage boy coming out as a drag queen - is now a hit in the West End. Amanda Holden popped backstage on opening night to chat to John McCrea, who plays Jamie. Check out the video below!

Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight. Sixteen: the edge of possibility. Time to make your dreams come true.

The show stars John McCrea, Josie Walker, Tamsin Carroll, Lucie Shorthouse and Mina Anwar, with a score by Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling. It's written by Tom MacRae and directed by Jonathan Butterell.
