Alejandro González Iñárritu will receive the Cinema Audio Society's Filmmaker of the Year honor at the 59th CAS Awards on Saturday, March 4, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel.

A new play about the decades-long, tempestuous friendship between Dorothy Parker and Robert Benchley will receive an industry reading on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Apple TV+ revealed a glimpse at its highly anticipated natural history event series “Prehistoric Planet,” from executive producers Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton, and BBC Studios Natural History Unit (“Planet Earth”), and narrated by Sir David Attenborough. The five-episode groundbreaking series will transport viewers 66 million years in the past.

The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (IATSE Local 706) announced winners of its 9th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Awards, presented by HASK Beauty, in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. The gala was held on Saturday night, February 19, 2022, before a live audience at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. It was also livestreamed to an audience of millions worldwide.  

Produced and directed by Erick Weiss and his Honeysweet Creative team, the 9th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) awards, presented by HASK® Beauty, will take place LIVE on February 19, 2022, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, as well as be streamed to thousands worldwide on YouTube and Vimeo. The MUAHS awards gala, honoring outstanding achievements of both make-up artists and hair stylists in motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater, is co-produced by Honeysweet Creative and IngleDodd Media.
