A terrifically trippy child's world on speed in a Victorian toy theatre within a theatre, conjured up by inventive 81-year-old Gilliam, and his co-director and choreographer, Leah Hausman.

Following an extensive audition process, it has been announced that Travis Cormier will take on the role of Strat in the Las Vegas run of Bat Out of Hell – The Musical, the award-winning hit production set to Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits and one of history’s best-selling albums. Cormier will take the stage at Paris Las Vegas on September 27.

As previously announced, in autumn 2022 Rona Munro returns to Scottish stages with a bold new production:  James IV – Queen of the Fight, directed by Laurie Sansom - the formidable duo who brought us James I, II and III.

Bringing to life the legendary hits of Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf, the critically acclaimed production Bat Out of Hell – The Musical heads to Milton Keynes for two weeks from 14 June.

The producers of Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell – The Musical, featuring Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf's greatest hits, have announced the musical's return to London in 2023. The show, which is currently touring the UK and Ireland, will play a limited season at the Peacock Theatre with performances from 17 February, ending on 1 April 2023.

The award-winning, experienced West End cast includes Julian Bleach [co-creator of the Olivier Award-winning Shockheaded Peter, The Grinning Man] as Mysterious Man, Audrey Brisson [Olivier nominee for Amélie, Outlander] as Cinderella, Nicola Hughes [Olivier nominee for Fosse and Porgy and Bess] as the Witch, Rhashan Stone [All About Eve at the Noël Coward, Finding Alice] as the Baker, and Alex Young [Follies at the National Theatre, South Pacific] as the Baker's Wife.  

SPIRITED AWAY was brought to life at the Imperial Theater in Tokyo, bringing in a full house of attendees. This timeless masterpiece was recreated by the director of Les Misérables, John Caird, who brought iconic scenes to the stage with amazing performances with 32 performers and over 50 puppets designed by Toby Olié. 

The songs of Meat Loaf and J.M Barrie’s story of Peter Pan are not an immediately obvious combination, but Bat Out Of Hell attempts to fuse these elements with hints of West Side Story, Rock Of Ages and Wagner-esque unrestrained theatricality.

BUGSY MALONE will open at Theatre Royal Bath with performances from 2 July 2022, followed by Birmingham Rep from 27 July 2022, prior to a major national tour including Southampton Mayflower from 30 August 2022, with further venues to be announced.
